• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, which includes working Saturdays and rotating Sundays.
• Must have reliable transportation since we are NOT on the light rail or bus route.

A Cashier Supervisor/Front-End Team Leader  in the grocery market is responsible for overseeing the customer-facing operations at the front of the store — primarily the registers, customer service , and bagging areas. They ensure smooth transactions, provide support to cashiers, and maintain a high level of customer service

Typical Responsibilities:

• Supervise cashiers and front-end staff: Monitor performance, assign tasks, handle scheduling and training.

• Customer service support: Resolve customer complaints, returns, and escalate issues as needed.

• Ensure checkout efficiency: Reduce wait times, open/close registers, and manage cashier breaks.

• Cash handling: Perform drawer counts, safe drops, and ensure register accuracy.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of front-end areas (register lanes, carts, bagging areas).

• Coordinate with other departments as needed (e.g., stock, bakery, deli) for customer requests or store needs.

• Training and mentoring of new hires and junior cashiers.
