SUR by Vita Bella is seeking skilled and passionate Line Cooks to join our culinary team in Ramsey, MN. At SUR, we blend European elegance with Las Vegas energy, creating a one-of-a-kind dining experience. As a Line Cook, you’ll play a pivotal role in bringing our bold menu to life, which features prime steaks, fresh seafood, and bold flavors crafted with old-world techniques and modern flair.

Key Responsibilities:

• Food Preparation & Cooking: Prepare high-quality dishes according to SUR’s recipes and presentation standards. This includes steaks, seafood, and a variety of other menu items.

• Line Cooking: Work stations within the kitchen, including grill, sauté, fry, and more. Ensure proper cooking techniques and timing for each dish.

• Quality Control: Maintain consistent quality and ensure that all dishes are prepared to perfection, meeting SUR’s standards for taste, texture, and presentation.

• Efficiency & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all kitchen safety and sanitation procedures.

• Teamwork: Collaborate with other kitchen staff and servers to ensure seamless service, including effective communication regarding orders and timing.

• Ingredient Management: Ensure that all ingredients are fresh, stored properly, and utilized efficiently. Report any inventory shortages or concerns to the kitchen manager.

• Adaptability: Be prepared to handle peak hours, busy weekends, and special events, maintaining composure while delivering exceptional food.

• You have previous experience in a line cook or kitchen role, preferably in a fast-paced, fine-dining, or high-volume environment.

• You have knowledge of various cooking techniques, especially those related to steaks, seafood, and bold flavor profiles.
