Kelly Services is hiring Forklift/Clamp Operators in Rochester, WA !

Shift:

  • 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30PM

Pay Rate:

  • $20.50 an hour

Position Summary:

The Clamp Operator operates a clamp forklift to handle, move, load, and unload large appliances and products safely and efficiently. This role requires attention to detail, precision, and a commitment to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a clamp forklift to move large appliances (e.g., refrigerators, washing machines, dryers) within the warehouse.
  • Load and unload products from trucks and trailers using clamp attachments.
  • Stack and store products in designated areas to prevent damage.
  • Safely handle fragile or high-value appliances, ensuring minimal damage during handling.
  • Conduct pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on forklifts to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through scanning or manual documentation.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties such as palletizing, sorting, and organizing products.
  • Follow safety procedures, guidelines, and company policies to prevent accidents and product damage.
  • Communicate with team members and supervisors to coordinate the efficient movement of products.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions, damages, or inventory discrepancies promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Must have Valid Driver License
  • Experience operating a forklift is required.
