Job Details

Tasks:

• Track insurance carrier invoices for timeliness and accuracy
• Coordinate and deposits and report financial results on a regular basis
• Monitor office expenses and tally and enter cash receipts
• Pay vendor invoices and track bank account balances
• Accounts Receivable collections including tracking of Notices of Cancellation
• Report payroll to payroll service, ensure accuracy, arrange for appropriate bank transfers and enter data in accounting software
• Monitor billing for accuracy
• Issue agency statements

Skills:

• Degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• Knowledge generally accepted accounting principles
• Extensive experience with data entry, record keeping and computer operation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook and especially Excel
• Proficient in the use of agency management software a plus
• Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
