IJN Health Systems, LLC is a Skilled Home Health Agency in Newark, Delaware, is looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our strong,  compassionate team of caregivers to provide rehabilitative services. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter who is motivated, and engaged.

Occupational  Therapist (OT) – Home Health.  Part-Time, PRN

Description

You will be responsible for the evaluation and treatment of patients. Overall treatment of

patients will include hands-on and documented evaluation, development of the Plan of Care, and

Ongoing treatment with patients through all aspects of Occupational therapy. Position requires

ensuring every patient receives a unique experience through a comprehensive, thorough, and

customized occupational therapy regimen with an emphasis on quality and individualized care provided in a

friendly environment.



Requirements of an Occupational Therapist (OT):

  • Appropriate license to practice in the State of Delaware
  • At least 1 year (preferred) working as an OT within a Hospital, Home Health Care, or Nursing home setting.
  • Ability to document information in the EMR
  • CPR certified
  • Negative TB test result
  • Pass a background check
  • Provide two (2) professional references
  • Able to travel to cases as assigned
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Competency in computer skills.
  • Meets the requirements of federal and/or state criminal and abuse background checks

Occupational Therapist (OT) responsibilities include:

  • Conduct assessments.
  • Develop and implement a plan of care for clients.
  • Re-evaluate client progress.
  • Communicate with members of the team.
