PrideStaff is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant/Receptionist for a manufacturing company located in Fontana, CA. This a full-time, contract to permanent position with opportunity to grow. Please see job requirements below to be considered.

  • Pay Rate: $20 to $22.00 (Depending on Experience)
  • Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:30am to 5pm 

The ideal candidate should be reliable with a good work ethic, willingness to learn and proficient with email.  Prior exposure to a business office environment and general office/receptionist duties is preferred.  We are seeking an individual that possesses good organizational skills, professional demeanor, attention to detail and is willing to grow as position expands. 
Job Duties

  • Answer multi-line switchboard and accurately distribute incoming calls to the appropriate personnel.
  • Professionally greet and check-in customers, suppliers and guests
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating customer/supplier meetings or corporate events as needed.
  • Open, sort and distribute incoming mail and forward materials to other facilities.
  • Complete general office clerical duties which include scanning, copying, filing, collating, etc.
  • Be willing and able to assist in special projects and company events as needed.
  • Assist with accurately entering data into the system.
  • Verifying the accuracy and completeness of data.
  • Updating and maintaining existing data.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualification:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 years’ general administrative or business office experience preferred
  • Knowledge of basic business office functions, practices, and procedures
  • Reliable, organized and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to make good judgement decisions
  • Ability to maintain good attendance
  • Basic to intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)



Job Requirements:

  • Administrative experience in manufacturing or similar environment is preferred. 
  • Strong focus on customer service
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.   
  • Bilingual: Spanish/English (preferred but not required)
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
  • Ability to pass a drug test and background check prior to start.
