We are looking for a proactive, self-managed, energetic, and positive Community Event Coordinator. The Event Coordinator will be responsible for initiating, planning, organizing and coordinating weekly fundraising events throughout the local area benefiting a well-known National charity. These events generate exposure for our clients, increase funds collected and raises awareness of support and need. Our focus is giving back as we strive to be leaders in the philanthropy industry. The person(s) in this role must uphold our core values, be goal-driven, and enthusiastic about our charity. Responsibilities:

·       Plan, coordinator and execute a variety of community fundraising events throughout a 40-60 mile radius.

·       Collaborate with community leaders, retail store managers and/or local businesses owners to host fundraising events both in person and on the phone.

·       Communicated with fundraising representatives to ensure successful event execution.

·       Build and maintain relationships with existing business owners and managers to ensure repeat events.

·       Manage timelines, logistics, venue locations.

·       Evaluate the success of each event, gather feedback and make recommendations for improvements on all events.

·       Foster a sense of community and engagement among event representatives, management and event attendees as needed.

·       Follow up with event hosts and deliver appropriate thank you.

·       Make and manage a book of business for the territory at large.

·       Represent our charity partners with the utmost professionalism while educating local business leaders of our charity mission.

 

Must Haves:

·       A firm understanding and knowledge of the local area, pre-existing relationships with local business owners, restaurant managers and have their finger on the pulse of the city.

·       This is a flex position, therefore, the ability to be self-driven and to work independently is a must have!

·       Strong organizational and project management skills.

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

·       Creativity and problem-solving skills in event planning, organization and execution.

·       Previous event coordination or community outreach is a plus.

·       Reliable transportation to and from events and throughout the community as needed.

·       Persistence and pride in charity and business development.

Other:

·       This is a full-time position.

·       Schedule is flexible until goals are met, though ideal scheduling for optimal success is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

·       We are hiring 2-3 Event Coordinators to start within 2 weeks.
