Finance Manager, IT Finance

The salary range for this role will be $125,000 - $150,000 plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities for the ideal candidate:
Ensure Robust Financial Governance:
Implements and enforces financial controls within IT projects to ensure adherence to budgetary policies and the firm’s corporate finance standards.

Provide Accurate Budgeting and Forecasting:
Develops detailed project budgets and maintains rolling forecasts, enabling Finance leadership to plan cash flow and capital allocation effectively.

Deliver Timely and Insightful Financial Reporting:
Produces accurate and timely financial reports on project spend, committed costs, and forecasted variances, facilitating informed decision-making by Finance and Executive Management.

Maintain Cost Control and Efficiency:
Monitors IT project expenditures against approved budgets, proactively identifies cost overruns, and recommends corrective actions to maintain financial discipline.

Support the firms Strategic Investment Decisions:
Prepares robust financial models, ROI analyses, and business cases to evaluate IT initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational financial goals and optimal return on investment.

Manage Financial Risks:
Identifies financial risks within IT projects, including funding gaps or compliance exposures, and implements mitigation plans in coordination with Finance leadership.

Ensures Compliance and Audit Readiness:
Maintains audit trails and supports internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations for project financial activities.

Enhance Vendor and Contractual Financial Oversight:
Oversees financial aspects of IT vendor contracts to ensure payments, accruals, and financial obligations are met in line with negotiated terms and accounting standards.

Drives Continuous Financial Process Improvement:
Recommends and implements improvements to financial management processes within IT projects to enhance efficiency, transparency, and compliance.
