Job Summary

Join a growing, industry-respected fire protection company as a Fire Sprinkler Designer based in Dallas, TX. In this hands-on role, you will lead the layout, design and CAD renderings of fire sprinkler systems across a wide range of commercial and industrial projects. You’ll work closely with project managers and technical teams to deliver code-compliant, efficient designs that are a real impact on safety and functionality.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality fire sprinkler drawings using industry standards, project specifications, and best practices
• Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure designs align with installation needs and code compliance
• Serve as the design lead on assigned projects, from concept through completion
• Utilize AutoCAD and BIM software to create precise, efficient, and compliant designs

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience designing fire sprinkler systems for new installations (commercial and industrial preferred)
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is required
• Hands-on experience with BIM design; familiarity with Revit, Autosprink, and/or HydroCAD is a plus
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
