Ritu Suri and Associates is a patient-focused medical practice dedicated to delivering high-quality care in a supportive and professional environment. We’re looking for a reliable and compassionate Front Desk Medical Assistant who is not only comfortable with administrative duties but is also open to assisting in the clinical setting when needed.

Position Overview:
This hybrid role offers the best of both worlds—working at the front desk to welcome patients and manage the flow of the office, with the opportunity to assist in the back with vitals, rooming patients, and supporting clinical staff.

Responsibilities:
Front Desk Duties:

• Greet and check in patients with a positive and professional attitude

• Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars

• Verify insurance with software insurance verifying software, collect co-pays, and handle patient intake forms

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the EMR

• Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries

Back Office/Clinical Duties (as needed):

• Take and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, weight, etc.)

• Room patients and prepare them for provider visits

• Assist providers during exams and procedures

• Maintain cleanliness and stocking of exam rooms

• Handle specimen collection and lab preparations (if trained)

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Medical Assistant certification (required)

• Previous experience in a medical office setting (front and/or back office)

• Strong multitasking, communication, and organizational skills

• A team player who’s flexible and ready to jump in where needed
