About the Role:

The Assistant General Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring that all guests have a memorable and enjoyable experience at our establishment. This position is responsible for overseeing the front office operations, managing guest relations, and ensuring that service standards are consistently met. The Assistant General Manager will lead a team of front desk staff, providing training and support to enhance their skills and performance. Additionally, this role involves analyzing guest feedback and implementing strategies to improve service delivery. Ultimately, the Guest Service Manager is dedicated to fostering a welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits and positive word-of-mouth referrals.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a guest service or front office management role.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Opera Property Management System.
  • Previous experience in a luxury hotel environment.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on team development.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily front office operations, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes.
  • Manage guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise front desk staff to maintain high service standards.
  • Analyze occupancy rates and implement yield management strategies to maximize revenue.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience throughout their stay.
  • Ensure high levels of customer service are maintained at all times.
  • Maintain accurate records of room availability and reservations.
