Job Description

Flux Core Welder – Goose Creek - $30 / hours

We’re hiring Flux Core Welder positions for a manufacturing plant in Goose Creek, SC. The pay rate is $30 / hour, with weekly pay overtime and benefits available. This full-time contract position may lead to permanent placement, advancement and pay increases.

Flux Core Welder Duties:

Repair and Maintain Smelting Pods (aluminum furnaces) using Flux core welding.
Follow instructions and blueprints according to the specifications.

Flux Core Welder Requirements / Shifts:

Must pass the required Weld test.
Must pass required physical.
Must be proficient in Flux Core Welding with carbon steel.
Must maintain strong attendance and communication during employment.
Mechanical and Electrical maintenance knowledge will assist you in this position.
Maintain organizational, safety, and cleaning protocols.
Complete additional tasks and duties required by supervisor.
Must pass Background and Drug Screen requirements.
Scheduling Availability:
- 4 days on 4 days off – all 12-hour shifts.
- Overtime is available and may be required based on production / maintenance needs.
