Job Description:

Tuesday & Thursday 7:15pm-11:45pm

Purpose and Scope:

• Responsible for the daily cleaning and housekeeping of assigned areas to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
• Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Cleaning:

  • Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors.
  • Dust furniture, walls, and other surfaces.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and countertops.
  • Empty trash and waste containers.
  • Clean and maintain common areas, such as hallways, waiting rooms, and breakrooms.
  • Clean and maintain equipment, such as chairs, tables, and other furniture.
  • Spot clean walls and doors.

• Supplies:

  • Ensure adequate supplies of cleaning materials, such as cleaning solutions, paper towels, and hand soap, are available.
  • Restock supplies as needed.

• Safety:

  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Report any safety hazards or concerns to the supervisor.

• Other Duties:

  • May be required to assist with other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
  • May be required to perform more complex tasks as needed.
  • May be required to assist with special projects as assigned by the supervisor.
  • May be required to assist with training new custodians.

• Record Keeping:

  • Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable company policies and procedures, local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in custodial or cleaning services preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and move products using carts with wheels ranging from 30-100 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
