Newell Corporation is currently hiring a Safety Manager to join our team in Arlington, WA.

Newell Corp offers a wide variety of welding, fabricating, machining, and assembly services across industries such as aerospace, automotive, public works, marine, space, defense, oil & gas, and construction.

As a Safety Manager at Newell Corp, you will develop, implement, coordinate, and document safety policies and procedures to promote and ensure effective safety operations in the organization.

Safety Manager Responsibilities:

· Maintain and promote safety culture,

· Conduct safety training related facilities maintenance, machine guarding, and crane inspections.

· Review safety training and recommend revisions, improvements, and updates.

· Conduct safety inspections and audits to assess employee compliance with safety regulations.

· Inspect safety equipment.

· Identify opportunities to minimize workplace injuries, accidents, and health problems.

Safety Manager Preferred Experience:

· 10+ years of experience working in heavy industrial safety roles.

· 5+ years of experience working in a heavy industrial environment.

· 2+ years of experience writing/maintaining safety policies and procedures.

· Experience with overhead lifting equipment and rigging.

· Experience working as a fabricator, machinist, or maintenance technician.

· Strong interpersonal skills to connect with employees, supervisors and managers.

· Strong work ethic, personal drive and vision to develop a safety program.

Salary Range: $95,000-$105,000, plus performance incentives
