Job Title: Supply Chain Specialist

Job Type: W2 Contract – 12 months
Location: Forest City, IA
Schedule: 40 hours per week
Pay Rate: $ 20 / hour, DOE
Position Overview:
This role is responsible for managing intercompany orders across international plants and distribution centers, ensuring smooth coordination of order entry, status updates, and issue resolution. The position also supports demand planning, order and inventory management, and financial reporting through regular data analysis and system tracking.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage intercompany orders including entry, inquiries, change requests, and handling exceptions
  • Investigate and resolve issues such as order delays, shipment discrepancies, and backorders
  • Support and maintain reporting for demand planning, order tracking, inventory, and financial data
  • Follow established procedures within areas such as supply planning, warehousing, transportation, inventory/materials control, and import/export
  • Work independently with periodic oversight; share best practices with team members
  • Utilize tracking systems to manage workflow and report progress
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • OR equivalent years of work experience in supply chain, logistics, or customer service
Skills & Knowledge:
  • Working knowledge of supply chain principles including planning, warehousing, transportation, inventory control, and import/export
  • Proficiency in relevant systems and software such as SAP ERP, JDA, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong English communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Basic analytical skills to interpret data, evaluate options, and make informed decisions
