Role Description

Quick Servant Co. Inc. is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial HVAC/R Installer to lead our installation projects and teams in the field. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial HVAC/R systems and installation processes, coupled with leadership abilities to effectively manage a team and deliver high quality results.

Job requirements

• Lead and supervise a team of installers in the setup, installation, and maintenance of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems according to project specifications and industry standards.
• Work in conjunction with project management to organize installation projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and material procurement, to ensure timely and efficient completion.
• Conduct on-site assessments and measurements to determine project requirements and ensure accurate installations.
• Collaborate with project managers to coordinate installation activities and resolve any technical issues or challenges that arise during projects.
• Train and mentor installation team members, providing guidance on best practices, safety protocols and technical skills development.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards throughout the installation process.
• Maintain accurate documentation of project details, including installation reports, equipment specifications, and inventory records.
• Monitor project budgets and expenses, striving to optimize costs while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Function as a technical resource for the team, offering expertise in troubleshooting, system diagnostics, and problem-solving.
• Be able to travel outside of our main territory, including but not limited to overnights stays for certain projects.

Qualifications

• Verifiable experience (5+ years) in installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems in commercial buildings
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience, demonstrating the ability to lead and motivate a team of installers effectively.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration principles, systems components, and installation techniques.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and allocate resources efficiently.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
• Commitment to safe practices and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for the team and adhering to regulatory requirements.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
• HVAC/R certification or relevant trade qualifications preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
