Position Title: HVAC Installation Technician
Location: Brookline, MA
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Compensation: $60,000 – $95,000 per year (Commensurate with Experience)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced HVAC Installation Technician to join our growing team in Brookline, MA. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the installation of commercial and residential heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, ensuring all work meets local codes, safety standards, and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, ductwork, heat pumps, boilers, and mini-splits

• Lay out and fabricate ductwork, refrigerant piping, and ventilation systems

• Install electrical components, thermostats, controls, and associated wiring

• Ensure all installations comply with manufacturer specifications and local mechanical codes

• Collaborate with project managers, customers, and inspectors to ensure smooth job execution

• Maintain clean and organized job sites, tools, and company vehicle

• Review blueprints, job orders, and technical diagrams prior to installation

• Perform startup and system commissioning to verify proper operation

• Provide excellent customer service and educate clients on system operation and maintenance

• Adhere to all safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of HVAC installation experience (residential or commercial)

• Valid Massachusetts Sheet Metal and/or Refrigeration License preferred

• EPA Universal Certification required

• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and technical diagrams

• Strong understanding of HVAC system components and installation practices

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders or in confined spaces

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work independently or as part of a crew

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Experience installing VRF/VRV systems, ductless mini-splits, and hydronic systems

• Familiarity with commercial rooftop units, building automation systems (BAS)

• OSHA 10/30 Certification

• NATE Certification or equivalent training

Compensation & Benefits:
