Emerald Search Partners is assisting a well-respected family law firm in identifying a skilled paralegal to join their growing team. (4732) This is a fantastic opportunity for paralegals with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in Family Law. The applicant is required to know how to handle all aspects of a family law matter from start to finish, including knowledge of the state and local court rules.
Duties will include handling all aspects of a client’s case, including coordinating intake of potential new client (“PNC”) consults, assisting with new client onboarding, preparing client folders, communicating with various parties, drafting pleadings, preparing financial declarations, conducting discovery, supporting attorneys in all aspects of a case, including, but not limited to assisting in the preparation for hearings, mediations, and trials. Successful candidates will have a high level of organization and attention to detail, strong research and written/verbal communication skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and FamilySoft.
