Ministry Purpose: This position plays a significant role in achieving the religious mission of the center and, thus, has a ministry purpose.

 

Qualifications:

1.    Agrees with the center’s statement of faith, mission statement, and code of Christian conduct.

2.    Is dependable, stable, and capable of committing to this position’s responsibilities and duties.

3.    Expresses a desire to reach at-risk patients considering abortion.

4.    Believes in the sanctity of all human life from the moment of conception through natural death.

5.    Has a sincere, mature faith and can disciple those they supervise.

6.    Holds a college degree or relevant work experience in administration and management, preferably has experience working in a pregnancy center.

Reports To: Board of directors, not individual board members

 

Supervises: The executive director/CEO is responsible for supervising all staff, administratively of the medical team, and collaborates with the medical director.

Time Commitment: Salaried position (40hrs)

Responsibilities and Duties:

1.    Carries out the center’s mission statement, statement of principles, policies, etc., and follows all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

2.    Oversee daily operations. Establishes and maintains an organizational structure and management system that assures efficiency, accountability, and appropriate delegation of tasks.

3.    Implements policies and long-and short-term objectives of the organization.

4.    Exercises discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance.

5.    Has authority to formulate, affect, interpret, or implement management policies or operating practices. 

6.    Carries out major assignments in conducting the operations of the business. 

7.    Performs work that affects business operations to a substantial degree,

8.    Has the authority to commit the organization in matters with significant financial impact per the budget. 

9.    Has authority to negotiate and bind the company on significant matters with board approval.

10.   Provides consultation or expert advice to the board and management.

11.   Is integrally involved in planning long- or short-term business objectives. 

12.   Investigate and resolve matters of significance on behalf of management

13.   Assists in board recruitment and development.

14.   Ensures that the center is providing high-quality, appropriate services according to medical standards of care.

15.   Establishes and maintains a center evaluation system that continuously assesses the programs and services of the organization. Provides recommendations for improvement in services, delivery, and management to the board of directors.

16.   Recommends annual directional goals for the center to the board of directors.

17.   Maintains and applies for grants that support the programs of the center. Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly reports in accordance with grant guidelines.

18.   Manages human resources, including hiring, training, evaluating, and terminating according to the employee manual.

19.   Manage financial and physical resources and responsibilities.

20.   Ensures patient services are appropriate and address physical, emotional, and spiritual health.

21.   Provides spiritual leadership to the staff and volunteers to ensure the Godly mission of the organization, including leading corporate prayers and devotions.

22.   Cultivates the spiritual health and well-being of staff and the organization.

23.   Assures the organization and its mission, programs, products, and services are consistently presented to relevant stakeholders in a strong, positive image.

24.   Oversee fundraising planning and implementation, including identifying resource requirements, researching funding sources, establishing strategies to approach funders, developing a yearly fundraising calendar, submitting proposals, and administrating fundraising records and documentation.

25.   Upholds the center’s policies and procedures.

26.   Supports the religious mission of the center and encourages the spiritual growth of staff and clients.

27.   Reinforces the humanity of the unborn child with patients, their guests, staff, and others.

28.   Able to share the gospel with patients and pray with them as appropriate.

29.   Leads staff (or participates) in shared prayer and devotions as opportunities arise.

30.   Share the love of Jesus Christ with all staff and volunteers, as appropriate.

31.   Serves with a heart of mercy, grace, and love.

32.   Is an ambassador of the Christian mission of the center to supporters and the public at large

33.   Provides spiritual leadership to ensure the Godly mission of the organization.

Work Environment Responsibilities:

1.    Promote   and encourage teamwork among staff and employees.

2.    Be aware of needs within each area of the organization and work in unity with all employees and volunteers.

3.    Ensure actions of all employees and volunteers should demonstrate harmony, consideration and the love of Christ.
