Job Description

If you’re the kind of person who loves chasing the deal, lives for a good lead, and could talk to just about anyone, this might be your dream role. Texas Empire Properties is on the hunt for a sharp, driven Mergers & Acquisitions Agent to help match motivated buyers with off-market opportunities.

We specialize in the childcare industry (because we’re really, really good at it), but we work with any commercial real estate and business (yes, we do the business part too) that makes sense for our clients. You’ll be working leads we receive daily (yep, daily) and doing some creative digging of your own using our digital tools, your phone, and your people skills.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Scouting off-market businesses and properties based on our active buyer pool
Using platforms like CoStar, BizBuySell, LoopNet, and Crexi to identify leads
Making calls, building relationships, and getting creative to uncover hidden gems
Managing deals from the first conversation through closing
Keeping buyers in the loop and sellers on track—daily communication is your bread and butter
Collaborating with our lead agent and broker to move deals forward
Rep the company well by ensuring professional and timely communication with all parties throughout the deal

What We’re Looking For:

A current Texas Real Estate License (this one’s a must)
Previous experience in commercial real estate or sales is great—but we’re happy to train the right go-getter
A natural communicator who’s comfortable picking up the phone (and doesn’t fear a little rejection)
Familiarity with commercial real estate tools—or willingness to learn quickly
Strong organizational skills and a reputation for follow-through
A team player who can also thrive independently—we’ll have your back, but you’ll own your pipeline
40 hours a week commitment with in-office presence (plus some field time when deals heat up)
