Job Details

A global Manufacturer in the New Albany, IN area is searching for a CNC Machinist to support their production. 

Responsibilities:

-       Install, set up, operate CNC machines

-       Load parts, operate controls, and inspect quality parts

-       Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accuracy, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion

-       Perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment

-       Keep equipment and work area clean

-       Other general machine operation duties and responsibilities

Requirements:

-       Must have at least high school diploma or GED

-       Experience with 5 years of CNC Machines preferred

-       Some knowledge of cutting tools, tool holders, fixtures, inserts etc.

-       Some knowledge of reading drawings

-       Must have excellent communication skills in both written/verbal English

-       Must be able to lift at least 35 lbs without assistance

-       Must be able to crawl into narrow spaces, such as under machines

-       This position does not support visa sponsorship or relocation expenses
