Kundra & Associates is a prestigious boutique law firm located in Rockville, MD. We are looking for a Receptionist/Legal Assistant to join our team to collaborate with management and other team members.

Position Overview
We are looking for a person with vision, who is collaborative, effective and inclusive in their working style to join our team and ensure the seamless operation of the office on a day-to-day basis. The ideal candidate can juggle competing priorities, builds, and strengthens internal and external relationships, is resourceful, and maintains a pleasant and professional demeanor under pressure. The position reports to the Operations Manager but also will take direction from the Managing Law Partner.
Duties and Responsibilities
This position interacts directly with a broad range of individuals and organizations. This person will be responsible for daily oversight of legal office functions.
Key tasks include:
Manage communication with clients, vendors, staff and links with systems, office equipment, utility services.
Managing and implementing office policies and procedure for efficient workflow including information management, filing systems, requisition of supplies, etc.
Answer phones.
Track incoming mail.
Greet people in person who visit office.
Assist with marketing ideas and implementation.
Paper filing in physical folders with scans to digital.
In office every week day.
Send out faxes.
Maintain and promote company’s highest ethical standards.
Manage procedures for systematic retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records.
Overseeing adherence to filing system and record keeping process
Prepare firm reports for managing partner.
Managing the security system for the office.
Managing the inventory of equipment
Overseeing maintenance of the building.
Establishing, implementing, and adhering of equipment procurement guidelines
Managing office supply orders.
Managing security for data.
Thorough knowledge of contract administration and office procedures.
Overseeing the responsibilities of the administrative staff.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years in management position.
Minimum of 3 years of legal work experience.
Exceptional level of ethical standards, professionalism, motivated and resourceful.
Able to help with growth, management, and expansion of company talent.
Proven ability to multitask and respond in a timely fashion to a high volume of requests.
Demonstrated ability to write and communicate clearly and effectively.
Great attention to detail.
High degree of organizational skills and problem solving.
Strong employment references and willingness to submit to and pass a full background check.
Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, SharePoint, and other software.

Salary and Application
$25 per hour full time 40 hours per week. Can be flexible with min 30hr/week
