Leading debt collection law firm operating in five states is seeking a motivated and professional Collection Agent to join our dynamic team.

Job Responsibilities

• Contact debtors via phone, email, and written correspondence to negotiate payment plans and settlements.

• Maintain accurate records of all communications and payment agreements.

• Collaborate with attorneys to ensure compliance with federal and state debt collection laws (e.g., FDCPA).

• Analyze debtor financial information to assess repayment ability.

• Provide excellent customer service while achieving collection goals.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 1-2 years in debt collection, customer service, or related field.

• Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge: Familiarity with debt collection regulations (FDCPA) is a plus.

• Attributes: Detail-oriented, persistent, and professional demeanor.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
