Laguna Woods Village Television is seeking a versatile and talented Video Production professional to join a dynamic team of creative directors, producers, and coordinators.

This individual will play a key role to help manage and grow the production portfolio by contributing to all aspects of video creation from concept to the finished product.

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented self-starter with exceptional skills in video production. They will lead and manage video projects from concept through post-production and should be able to function independently to create, produce and edit.

Beyond technical expertise, qualified candidates will possess a portfolio that clearly demonstrates both creative vision and innovative thinking.

• Oversees ideation, storyboarding, production and post-production of projects including project management of others on the creative team. Capable of balancing a project's creative requirements with schedule and budget

• Interact with clients and staff across various business sectors

• Be a part of the day-to-day responsibilities of the television station

• Continuously explores cutting-edge, current, and unique production processes/procedures

• Technical knowledge of all aspects of video editing, including importing content, working with a variety of compression formats, basic audio sweetening and DVD authoring

Requirements:

· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in nonlinear video concept/editing/production environment

· Strong knowledge of DSLR photography/videography techniques

· Strong background and proven track record with emphasis in daily and/or weekly television production. Applicants with experience in live television – especially local origination encouraged.

· Strong post-production skills utilizing programs such as Final Cut Pro, Adobe Creative Suite including Motion, and Sound Track Pro

· Ability to work as part of a highly creative team

· Previous experience creating scripts and storyboards

· Excellent time management skills and the ability to work well under tight deadlines

· Strong and demonstrable production skills including camera operation, light and sound is required
