As an Irrigation Specialist, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and oversight of irrigation systems on commercial properties. You will lead crews, manage schedules, ensure customer satisfaction, and contribute to the overall reputation and profitability of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain irrigation systems and ensure water conservation best practices.

• Read and interpret irrigation designs and blueprints.

• Supervise and support foremen and laborers assigned to your projects.

• Maintain strong customer communication and ensure customer satisfaction through weekly check-ins and timely completion of work orders.

• Estimate and report project costs and time accurately.

• Enforce safety standards and company policies on-site.

• Maintain clean, functional, and safe equipment and workspaces.

• Train and mentor field staff to ensure quality work and career development.

• Coordinate schedules, track progress, and submit weekly work reports.

Requirements:

• 4–7 years of hands-on experience in commercial landscaping or irrigation systems.

• 1–2 years of experience as an Irrigation Specialist preferred.

• Fluent in English and Spanish (required).

• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

• Able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.

• Proficient in diagnosing problems and implementing solutions in the field.

• Must be comfortable with scheduling multiple projects and resolving customer and crew concerns.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience managing field crews and interacting with clients.

• Familiarity with local irrigation codes and water management practices.

• Knowledge of domestic water and light plumbing systems.

Work Environment:

• Job sites vary and include both office and fieldwork.

• Outdoor conditions may include heat, humidity, and uneven terrain.

• Regular travel to customer sites is required.
