Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Warehouse Manager to oversee daily operations related to cabinet assembly, freight coordination, customer pickups, warehouse organization, and personnel supervision. This role requires hands-on leadership, a strong focus on workflow efficiency, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cabinet Assembly Oversight:
Ensure all cabinet assembly processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and according to quality standards. Coordinate with the production team to meet daily and weekly output goals. - Freight Management:
Oversee inbound and outbound freight logistics, including scheduling, documentation, and ensuring timely and damage-free deliveries. - Customer Pickups:
Manage and streamline the customer pickup process. Ensure orders are complete, properly staged, and customers are assisted professionally. - Warehouse Organization:
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Optimize space utilization and implement organizational systems for inventory and tools. - People Management:
Lead, train, and schedule warehouse staff. Foster a positive and productive work environment while enforcing company policies and safety procedures. - Inventory Control:
Monitor inventory levels of cabinets, parts, and supplies. Work with purchasing and inventory teams to ensure accurate counts and timely restocking. - Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain records of warehouse activities including assembly progress, freight logs, staffing, and incident reports.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations or manufacturing supervision (cabinetry experience preferred)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proficient in inventory and logistics software (e.g., ERP, WMS)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a physically active environment
- Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
