About the Role:

The Kitchen Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen within our hospitality establishment. This position is responsible for overseeing food production, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation, and managing kitchen staff effectively. The Kitchen Manager will also be tasked with menu planning and controlling food and labor costs to maximize profitability. By fostering a positive work environment and ensuring that all kitchen operations run efficiently, the Kitchen Manager contributes significantly to the overall guest experience. Ultimately, this role is essential in delivering high-quality food service while adhering to budgetary constraints and health regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or in a similar role within the restaurant industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage food and labor costs effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in menu development and food production management.
  • Previous experience in a high-volume kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, manages meal production, overseeing all food production efforts including ordering, prep, cooking, banquet, events, quality control, inventory management, and food safety.
  • Manage inventory, food costs, and labor costs to optimize kitchen efficiency and profitability.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Conduct regular inspections of kitchen equipment and facilities to ensure proper maintenance and safety.
  • Cooking: work on the line to support staff when needed.
