Qualifications:

  • Licensed (or eligible for licensure) as a Certified Occupational Therapist in the State of Florida
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills in order to collaborate effectively within our multidisciplinary team.
  • New grads (even if you haven't yet completed boards) and experienced OTs are both encouraged to apply
  • Passion for evidence-based, play-centered therapy

Skills Needed:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing abilities, and global functional capabilities.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's unique needs and goals and collaborate with parents and caregivers.
  • Deliver engaging and effective therapy sessions using evidence-based interventions to improve children's motor coordination, sensory integration, and self-care skills.
  • Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as needed, regularly communicating with families to involve them in the therapeutic process.
  • Maintain documentation including SOAP notes, evaluations, and progress reports.
