RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Financial Management using accrual and cash-based accounting principles
• GL, bank reconciliation, A/R, A/P, daily, monthly, and year-end reports
• Process payroll and calculate and distribute service charges, tips, and gratuities
• Track food and beverage inventory, physically and financially to calculate COGS
• Monitor cash flow and credit card management
• Work with auditors and management for all tax and compliance needs
• Strength in filing business licenses, sales tax, and other regulatory requirements

REQUIREMENTS;

• Experience as a full-charge bookkeeper, with hospitality or restaurant experience
• QuickBooks, Excel, and POS system experience
• Familiar with occupancy taxes, service charge distribution, and F&B inventory management
• Know CA wage and labor laws
• Like working with a collaborative team that will let you run your side of the business
