Now Hiring: Medical Assistant– Join a Leading Healthcare Team!

Full-Time | Competitive Pay |26 Weeks Contract with Potential of Conversion to Permanent

Location: Teaneck, NJ

• Shift: 8 hrs. days Shift, 8 am -5 pm (Mon to Fri)
• Scheduled Hours: 40 Hours a Week

Hourly Compensation: $20.00 - $23.00 Per Hour. (Based on experience)

Job Duties:

• Escort patients from the waiting area to exam rooms.
• Record vital signs (height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, etc.).
• Obtain patient history and reason for visit; document in the EMR (Epic).
• Prepare exam rooms and assist providers during examinations and minor procedures.
• Set up and clean medical instruments and equipment.
• Provide support in conducting vision and hearing tests, developmental screenings, and other age-appropriate pediatric assessments.
• Vaccination and Medication Administration:
• Administer vaccines and oral/injected medications as directed by providers.
• Ensure correct documentation of lot numbers, expiration dates, and administration sites.
• Educate parents/guardians about immunizations and potential side effects.

What We’re Looking For:

• An active Medical Assistant Certificate
• BLS from AHA
