Job Title: Payroll Specialist
Location: U.S.A. (Fully Remote)
3-Month W2 Assignment (high potential to extend / convert)
Salary Range: $34-36 / HR
Role Summary:
We are partnering with a leading global drug delivery CDMO and they are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join their team. You will be responsible for all payroll-related processing and limited analyst activities on Ceridian Dayforce Managed Service Model.
Responsibilities
- Responsible full payroll data transmission for US Bi-Weekly, Semi-Monthly, and Monthly cycle.
- Ensures that mandatory and voluntary withholdings and deductions are accurately calculated and reported.
- Prepare, Audit and Transmits payroll files for processing to Ceridian MS platform.
- Review payroll output from Ceridian Dayforce MS team and coordinate approvals.
- Assists employees or managers with questions about payroll policies and pay discrepancies.
- Run data reports, analyze, and provide to various cross functional teams.
- Verify new hire setup in payroll systems and review WFM/HR/PY transactions
- Maintain/configure DayForce payroll module and support various payroll initiatives.
- Assists in the preparation and review of year end W-2s or other related tax filings or reports.
- Work with vendors such as MS-Ceridian, Tax, 401k, Benefits.
- Attend and participate in internal cross team (HR/BEN/FI) and external vendor meetings.
- Analyze historical payroll deficiency data and categorize the data by topic (i.e., system deficiency, process deficiency or data deficiency) and provide solution to minimize.
- Assist in analyzing current payroll schedule and timelines and recommend payroll schedule adjustments to meet deadlines.
- Assist payroll annual payroll audits and serve as UK payroll resource back-up.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, tax, and deduction laws.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree or 4 + years of payroll related experience preferable on Ceridian Dayforce.
- Intermediate Excel level, proficient with all other Office applications.
- Payroll experience with multi-state jurisdictions preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
- Experience working with outsourced payroll providers.
