Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking 31 Flight Readiness Technician C's for a contract opportunity in Victorville, CA.

100% ONSITE

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
1. AP Mechanic
2. Total Knowledge of the Airplane
3. 5+ years of experience
4. Min H. S Diploma or equivalent
5. Regular and predictable attendance is required.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
787 and 777 Aircraft modifications
A&P MECHANIC
o Perform Service Bulletin installations and functional checks relating to aircraft mechanical systems. Perform system troubleshooting and maintenance tasks issued by Client or the customer. Maintain a clean and FOD free work area.
o A&P certification preferred
o Proficient flight deck operations all Client models
o Proficient troubleshooting a/c systems
o Proficient software loading
o Meets RS requirements

In Training: hands on and desk work.
May be asked to assist with the 787 Storage Program when we are slow or they need help. This might require some additional training.
Work statement is a non-managerial role, non-leadership role.
Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment - OJT or formal classroom training.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
1. Avionics
2. Structures
3. Interior
4. AP Certification

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Requires being on their feet for long periods of time, climbing ladders, fitting in confined spaces. -35 lbs.
Use Scissor lift, Boom lift.
Lifting, bending, standing, stooping, operating machinery, working outside 30% of the time.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).

WORK HOURS: First and Second Shift. All candidates submitted must be open to working both shits. Will be asked to work weekends.
PER CLIENT: Candidates who do not have the flexibility to work all shifts or variable shifts should not apply for this opportunity.

ADDITIONAL:
OT may be expected. Possibly up to 20 hours of OT expected.
Training: Could be in Seattle, WA, manager will provide more details (Client Credit Issued).

 

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
