Licensed Mental Health Therapist

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Therapist to join our team. The therapist will provide high-quality clinical care to individuals in our treatment programs, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support client recovery and wellness.

Employment Type: Full-Time/Part-Time/Per Diem
Location: Numerous Locations in Los Angeles
Reports To: Clinical Director

Key Responsibilities:

• Individual and Group Therapy: Provide evidence-based individual, family, and group therapy sessions tailored to client needs.
• Assessments and Treatment Planning: Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress throughout care.
• Crisis Intervention: Respond effectively to client crises, providing stabilization and support while following appropriate safety protocols.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries in accordance with agency and regulatory standards.
• Collaboration: Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case consultations, and coordination of care with psychiatrists, case managers, and other providers.
• Psychoeducation: Facilitate workshops or educational groups on topics such as coping skills, relapse prevention, trauma, and mindfulness.
• Compliance and Ethics: Adhere to all HIPAA regulations, licensing standards, and organizational policies.

Qualifications:

• Education: Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
• Licensure: Current and valid state licensure (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent).
• Skills: Strong therapeutic, assessment, and crisis intervention skills; proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Certifications (Preferred): CPR, First Aid, and any specialty certifications (e.g., trauma-informed care, DBT, EMDR).
