Position Overview:

• We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Preventive Maintenance Technician to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our heavy equipment fleet. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintenance, a strong understanding of mechanical systems, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on heavy equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, and dump trucks.
• Analyze and diagnose equipment issues through inspections and tests.
• Conduct oil changes, lubrication, and parts replacement as needed.
• Keep detailed maintenance records and documentation of services performed.
• Collaborate with operations to schedule maintenance without disrupting workflows.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist in training other staff on equipment maintenance procedures.
• Participate in safety meetings and contribute to a safety-first workplace culture.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification or training in heavy equipment maintenance is preferred.
• Proven experience in preventive maintenance of heavy machinery.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Valid driver’s license with CDL B and HAZMAT endorsement
