Responsibilities:

• Selecting or modifying components according to measurements and specifications.
• Taking precise measurements to ensure a perfect fit of components.
• Maintaining equipment in good condition.
• Keeping records of production quantities and time.
• Checking output to ensure the highest quality.
• Aligning material and putting together parts to build more complex units.
• Reporting on issues, malfunction or defective parts.
• Ability to comprehend and follow detailed verbal or written instructions, as well as diagrams and other technical documents.
• Documents actions by completing safety, quality, and production forms as needed.
• Effectively work in a team-oriented setting as part of assembly line layout.
• Flexible to work overtime as required by production schedule.
• Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as assembler.
• Ability in using tools (e.g. clamps) and machines (e.g. presses).
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have good eyesight, including depth perception, peripheral vision, and ability to differentiate between colors.
• Willing to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
• Ability to communicate well with supervisors and coworkers.
• Ability to lift up to 30lbs.
