We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Financial Advisor Trainee who wants to learn the business from the ground up. This full-time, entry-level position is ideal for someone eager to gain firsthand experience in a successful advisory practice while working toward full industry licensing.

As a trainee, you’ll begin by supporting the day-to-day work of senior advisors including handling paperwork, preparing for client appointments, and assisting with essential operations. All while studying for your securities and insurance licenses - costs fully covered by the firm.

This role is a strong match for candidates who want real-world exposure while building toward a future as a licensed financial advisor.

Key Responsibilities

Foundational Training & Support:

  • Assist senior advisors in preparing materials and documentation for client meetings
  • Support account opening, transfers, and paperwork processing
  • Track follow-up actions and ensure smooth execution of advisor recommendations
  • Organize and maintain client files and internal records for accuracy and compliance

Licensing & Career Development:

  • Study for and pass required licensing exams (SIE, Series 7, 66, Life/Health)
  • Participate in structured training and mentorship programs
  • Learn core service models, compliance procedures, and operational workflows

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
  • Strong desire to build a long-term career as a financial advisor
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication abilities
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and eager to learn
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with financial software is a plus

Compensation:

  • Base salary: $55,000
