Now Hiring: Make Ready Technician – Lockhart, TX

Penn Apartment Staffing is currently seeking a Make Ready Technician for an immediate opening in Lockhart, TX. The Make Ready Technician is responsible for preparing vacant apartment units for move-in and working closely with the property manager and lead maintenance technician to ensure each unit is thoroughly restored to "market ready" condition in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in facilities maintenance, electrical work, and customer service, and will be able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting thorough inspections of units to identify needed repairs
• Performing electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance repairs
• Completing make-ready tasks such as painting, drywall repair, and general cleaning
• Reading and interpreting schematics for installations and troubleshooting
• Coordinating with other maintenance staff or outside contractors as needed
• Providing excellent customer service to residents
• Keeping accurate records of completed work and materials used
• Following all safety standards and regulations
