American Solar & Roofing is seeking a skilled and versatile Operations Manager to join our management team. This critical role oversees internal infrastructure operations including warehouse logistics, HR coordination, and accounting support. What You'll Do:

Leadership & Management

• Lead, manage, and hold team members accountable.

• Participate in leadership council meetings and contribute to key company decisions.

• Conduct performance reviews for Internal Operations, Accounting, and Administrative personnel.

Warehouse & Facility Operations

• Oversee daily operations of the warehouse and internal logistics.

• Manage inventory control, purchasing, and consignment tracking.

• Coordinate with vendors for on-time delivery and component forecasting based on construction schedules.

• Monitor warehouse budgets, facility safety, cleanliness, and fleet maintenance schedules.

Human Resources Support

• Serve as the HR liaison with our PEO; coordinate onboarding, hiring, and employee support.

• Foster a culture of accountability, personal growth, and alignment with company values.

• Manage internal documentation, training programs, and employee development tools

Accounting & Financial Coordination

• Act as the main contact between AS&R and our outsourced accounting partner.

• Oversee AP/AR, payroll, cash flow, reconciliations, and job costing.

• Manage company insurance policies and support audits.

• Assist with budget development and track budget-to-actual performance.

Required Experience & Education:

• 2+ years in construction or construction operations (required)

• 3+ years professional operations experience

• HR and accounting experience preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, or Accounting (preferred)

Key Skills:

• Strong verbal and written communication

• Organizational excellence and attention to detail

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift 50–70 lbs. in a warehouse setting

• Frequent reaching, bending, and movement

• Comfortable with prolonged computer use and occasional file lifting (up to 40 lbs.)

• Ability to navigate stairs throughout the day
