Job Description

Sterling Personnel, Inc is looking for warehouse associates in the area of San Antonio. In this role you will be working Mon-Fri 8a-5pm with the opportunity for overtime on weekends during the busy season. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will ensure accurate counts of inventory as it comes in and goes out, rotate stock and properly handle any damaged materials. Be part of a team, because we have a “team-first” attitude.

Qualifications:

• Experience working in a warehouse, distribution center, shipping and receiving department, or similar environment.
• Able to lift to 50 lbs. repeatedly each day.
• Driving a forklift in this type of setting is a plus or we will help you get certified.
• Must have basic math skills for inventory counts; and English verbal and written skills to be able to read purchase orders and communicate with team members.
• Be reliable, safe and a team player.
• Have a valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record, and reliable transportation to and from work.
• Authorized to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship for any length of time.
• Organize and store inventory in an orderly and accessible manner.
• Assist in picking, packing, and labeling orders for shipment.
• Prepare and organize materials for internal use or customer orders.
• Perform regular inventory checks to ensure stock accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team environment.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
• Forklift experience or certified
• Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
