Currently seeking experienced Tax accountant and Bookkeeper to join Southwest Business Consultants, Inc. for Federal and State tax compliance work including tax preparation, and bookkeeping with a minimum of 2-3 years' experience. Our office provides multiple services including consulting on Federal & State taxes, insurance, investments, real estate, financial planning and other related matters.

Job Type: Federal and State Tax Accountant / Bookkeeper Full-time / Part-time

Salary: $24.00 - $30.00 + per hour commensurate with experience and skill level

Qualifications

Education

*  Bachelors or Associates degree in accounting

License/Certifications

 QuickBooks certified or proficient

Responsibilities & Skills

* Start to finish tax prep for basic C-Corp, S-Corp, partnerships, trusts and individual returns

* Strong computer and time management skills with proficiency using tax preparation software (Lacerte preferred though not necessary),  Adobe, Excel and QuickBooks

* Good communication skills

* Full Charge Bookkeeper
