Pioneer Design Group, PDG, has an immediate opening for a Civil Engineer with 5+ years’ experience to join our Company.  PDG is a fast paced, team-oriented environment where collaboration is encouraged and supported.  We are looking to add to our group with a responsible person wanting to increase their knowledge and expertise in the land development field.  A degree in Civil Engineering with an EIT is preferred along with Civil 3D experience.  PDG provides services on a broad range of projects including residential subdivisions, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use developments.  PDG is a multi-disciplined firm specializing in civil engineering, surveying, land-use planning, landscape architecture, construction management and development services. We have an established client base including land owners, real-estate developers, architects, government agencies and public service providers.

Required Experience:

Extensive Civil 3D knowledge and ability to navigate software providing design elements on a projects such as:

o   Project and Plan Set Sheet Set-up

o   Drafting and Design using known requirements

o   Plan and Profiles of Roads and Utilities

o   Grading Plans

o   Earthworks Analysis

o   Stormwater Design

o   Storm Drainage Conveyance and Reports

o   Construction Cost Estimates

·         General Land Development and Construction Knowledge

·         Proficient with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Support Project Manager and Team in preparation of Preliminary and Final Engineering Plans and Reports.

·         Provide clear written and oral communication within PDG as well as with clients and Local Jurisdictional Personnel.

·         Ability to work efficiently within a team, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
