Job Description

Position: Electrical Controls Technician

We are seeking a hands-on Electrical Controls Technician with a strong technical background in electrical systems. This role involves both in-house panel testing and field commissioning of automation systems, with some travel required.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble, test, and troubleshoot control panels and VFDs
Support installation and commissioning of systems
Perform electrical installations following engineering guidance
Collaborate with engineers on system integration and testing
Document procedures and ensure a safe, organized work environment

Qualifications:

Associate’s degree in Electrical Technology or equivalent experience
2+ years in industrial electrical installations
Proficient in reading schematics and wiring diagrams
Experience with VFDs and motor control (preferred)
Switchgear experience helpful
PLC and industrial communication protocol knowledge (a plus)
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed
