Job Summary:

The Nest Assisted Living Facility LLC is seeking a compassionate and dependable Live-In Caregiver to provide hands-on assistance, companionship, and daily care to our residents in a warm, home-like setting. The ideal candidate will live on-site and ensure residents receive quality care while maintaining a safe and supportive environment in compliance with Maryland COMAR regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and ambulation

• Assist with medication administration under the direction of a certified Medication Technician (CMT) or licensed nurse (WE WILL PAY FOR YOUR CLASS IF NOT CERTIFIED!)

• Support residents during meals and assist with feeding when needed

• Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning resident rooms, and maintaining common areas

• Monitor residents' physical and emotional well-being and promptly report changes to management

• Maintain accurate daily care notes and documentation in compliance with OHCQ standards

• Assist with scheduling and attending medical appointments as needed

• Respond to emergency situations following the facility's policies and procedures

• Participate in fire drills, emergency preparedness, and infection control protocols

• Foster a warm, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere for residents
