Beginner Music Instructor
Inspire Young Musicians with Learn Now Music Group, Inc.!

Learn Now Music Group, Inc. is looking for passionate, enthusiastic instructors to teach beginner music classes to elementary-aged students (ages approx. 5–12) in a fun and engaging small-group setting. In the last 23 years, we’ve helped thousands of students discover the joy of music—and now, you can join us in making a difference!

Earn $35 per 1-hour group class
Note: Total time commitment includes set-up and clean-up before and after class.

You’ll be a great fit if you:

• Play or have basic experience on an instrument (piano, guitar, ukulele, violin, drums, or voice) — formal training not required!
• Love working with children and making music fun and accessible
• Are available part-time during “after-school” hours (fall/winter/spring)
• Have experience as a camp counselor, tutor, teacher, coach, after-school instructor, or preschool teacher
• Are reliable, organized, and have access to transportation (car preferred)
• Are looking for a part-time job with a flexible schedule — ideal for college students, rideshare drivers, freelancers, or retirees!

We provide:

• Training in our beginner music curriculum
• Ongoing support and resources to help you succeed in the classroom
• All class materials, instruments, and lesson plans

Sample Day:

2:30pm – Arrive at school, check in, and set up your classroom
3:00pm – Welcome students and begin the day’s musical activity and lesson
3:20pm – Follow the provided music curriculum and schedule
4:00pm – Wrap-up, parent pickup, and clean-up

Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of music and beginner-level skills on an instrument
• Passion for teaching and working with children
• Reliable transportation to and from school sites
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs of instruments and materials
• Willingness to learn and follow curriculum guidelines

Responsibilities:

• Manage a classroom of 10–20 beginner music students
• Teach basic music concepts using our curriculum (rhythm, note names, instrument techniques, etc.)
• Encourage creativity, teamwork, and musical growth
• Maintain a positive, structured classroom environment
• Care for and return all instruments, teaching materials and equipment responsibly
