Job Title: Remote Level 2/3 IT Support Engineer (Contract)
Location: Remote
Duration: Full-time (40 hours/week) | Contract
Start Date: ASAP

Overview:
We are seeking experienced Level 2/3 IT Support Engineers with a strong generalist background in networking and system support to join our remote team. The role involves a variety of tasks across multiple smaller projects and requires individuals who are self-motivated, technically proficient, and comfortable working independently while supporting end users and third-party on-site resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform ISP cutovers and coordinate with on-site resources when necessary
• Conduct Windows desktop and server upgrades
• Troubleshoot network issues, primarily involving Fortinet and Sophos firewalls
• Perform basic Layer 2 switch configurations (limited VLAN setup; routing handled at the firewall)
• Provide remote support to end users and third-party technicians
• Maintain clear documentation using ITGlue and SharePoint
• Manage and respond to tickets via ZenDesk.
• Access and support systems through NinjaOne RMM platform

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in Level 2/3 IT support roles
• Strong troubleshooting skills in Windows environments (desktop and server)
• Solid experience with Fortinet and/or Sophos firewalls
• Familiarity with Layer 2 networking and VLANs
• Experience using remote tools such as NinjaOne or similar RMM platforms
• Effective communication skills for remote coordination with users and vendors
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

Nice to Have:

• Hospitality IT support experience
• Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, or vendor-specific credentials (Fortinet, Microsoft, etc.)
