1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Job Description:

Snelling has an immediate opening for a Accounts Receivable/Collections Specialist in Louisville, KY. This position will be supporting the accounting department of a well-established company at their corporate office. This is a 100% in-office role with flexible weekday hours. The ideal candidate will bring business-to-business (B2B) collections experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating across departments. Please note: Medical or call center collections experience will not translate well for this position.

• Monitor and manage overdue accounts; prioritize outreach based on aging
• Contact clients via phone and email to follow up on outstanding balances
• Maintain detailed collection notes in the accounting system (Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains)
• Work with internal departments—sales, customer service, and accounting—to resolve billing concerns and ensure accurate invoicing
• Generate ad hoc invoices and request credits when needed
• Upload and manage invoices through client portals

Accounts Receivable/Collections Specialist Requirements:

• Proven B2B collections experience (required)
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and time management abilities
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains is a plus
• Associate degree preferred, but not required
