In this role, you will be responsible for preparing parts and surfaces by applying masking materials to protect areas from paint, coatings, or other finishing treatments. Your precision ensures the integrity of high-quality products and helps maintain industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply masking tape, plugs, caps, and other materials to designated areas of parts prior to painting or finishing

• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and masking specifications

• Verify part numbers, dimensions, and masking requirements for each job

• Inspect masked components for quality and conformance

• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and production timelines

• Maintain cleanliness of workstations and tools

• Follow safety procedures and company policies

Skills & Qualifications

• High attention to detail and manual dexterity

• Ability to read technical drawings and work instructions

• Experience in production or manufacturing settings preferred

• Basic understanding of masking materials and techniques

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to lift and handle parts/equipment as needed
