Purpose

To manage, provide best in class support and leadership to the Commercial and Residential Service and Maintenance customers, Service Technicians, and projects to the success of the Service department and aligned with Company vision and goals of quality, safety, productivity, and growth.

Job Description

Work with Service Support to direct day-to-day Service Technicians on Service repairs & Maintenance contracts. Provide pricing and proposals on larger service estimate repairs, assist technicians and service support on pricing smaller projects. Help technicians in the field as necessary complete projects with expert support and guidance. Assist technicians with expert service support on light commercial and residential service projects. Sell and assist technicians with the ability to sell service upgrades and maintenance contracts to residential and commercial customers. Conduct regular meetings with technicians as well as monthly training to improve technical and customer service skills. Manage off hours and on-call and provide on-call support. Work with President to adjust pricing to market and maintain profitability. Assist service support or technicians with customer service issues. Assist service support in the procurement of monthly maintenance and service repair parts and supplies.

Qualifications

· Minimum 15 years commercial and residential HVAC Service experience with expert level service diagnostics and preventative maintenance of HVAC systems and equipment.

· Minimum 5 years in management role

· Comfortable and efficient on a computer and computer software such as Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, Service Fusion or similar.

· Experience in Sales and Customer Service

· Ability to show leadership, help others be better and show teamwork with other departments.

· Embrace continual improvement and HVAC innovations.

Expectations

· Self-motivated leader able to hold technicians to D&J standards of quality workmanship and efficiency.

· Keep up in a fast-paced environment meeting demands for technical support (both on and off field), executing proposals and following up with ongoing projects.

· Responsive and respectful with service team, all office staff and customer base.

· Conduct weekly service meetings with the technicians as well as on-site training.

· Shared off-hours management of on-call technicians, working regular hours as necessary (approximately 50-60 hours per week).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
