Job Title: Traffic Control Flagger (Certified)

Location: Mount Vernon, WA (Yard-based ride share available)

Starting Pay:

• Flagger: $20/hr (higher pay available based on experience)

• Sign Setting: $22/hr (for candidates with experience)

Job Description:

We are seeking Certified Traffic Control Flaggers to join our team. As a flagger, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of construction crews, drivers, and pedestrians by managing traffic flow around work zones. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are dependable, safety-conscious, and ready to work outdoors in a variety of conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Safely direct traffic around construction zones and work areas

• Set up, monitor, and remove traffic control devices and signage

• Maintain communication with team members and site supervisors

• Follow safety protocols and comply with state flagging regulations

• Represent the company in a professional manner on every job site

Requirements:

• Valid Traffic Control Flagger certification

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

• Must be able to stand for long periods and stay alert

• Dependability and good communication skills

Preferred but not required:

• Personal vehicle for transportation to job sites

• Sign setting experience (eligible for $22/hr)

• Hard hat and 3-point reflective vest

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings or weekends

• If no personal vehicle, ride share is available if you can get to our yard in Mount Vernon
