Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic (A&P Certified) to join our growing maintenance operations. This senior-level role requires a high degree of technical expertise, leadership ability, and a deep understanding of FAA repair station regulations. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, mentoring junior mechanics, and maintaining safe-for-flight inspection responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform complex aircraft inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting in accordance with FAA regulations, AAIP, and OEM technical data.

• Serve as a QC Level 2 Safe-For-Flight Inspector, ensuring airworthiness prior to Return to Service.

• Support and conduct aircraft run and taxi operations at Dayton International Airport.

• Lead and train junior mechanics across multiple corporate aircraft projects (minimum of 5 makes/models).

• Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Supervision, and Management to ensure proper documentation, compliance, and use of the Corridor maintenance system.

• Maintain all aircraft and component tools, ground equipment, and personal protective equipment to company and FAA standards.

• Accurately document OJT and formal training records in accordance with company policies.

• Follow all housekeeping, safety, and regulatory guidelines for shop and ramp environments.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support maintenance operations.

Required Qualifications:

• Active FAA A&P License (Airframe & Powerplant).

• Minimum 10 years of aircraft maintenance experience, with demonstrated leadership in corporate or general aviation environments.

• Previous experience conducting aircraft taxi and run operations.

• Proven capability as a QC Level 2 Safe-For-Flight Inspector or willingness to obtain and maintain this status.

• Experience using maintenance software such as Corridor; must be computer literate and familiar with MS Office, especially Outlook.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical manuals.
